Mark Donovan

Sempai Mark has been training with SKA for four years and consistently attends extra sessions each week. He had several years’ prior training in Shotokan and was a quick study right from the beginning. He earned his first degree black belt (shodan) from Shihan Manabu Murakami of the Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF) in December 2013. Sempai Mark has attended several instructor training courses and is taking a leadership role teaching the youth and adult classes.

Michael Ting

Sensei Mike came to us from Shihan Minobu Miki’s Shito Ryu organization in California. Sensei Mike was very particular when selecting a dojo in which his two children could study and opted for a traditional Shotokan dojo. He is an excellent instructor with the beginner youth classes and always encourages the students to do their best.
